WELL, im back at school and classes start monday. Why we have to start a week earlier than everyone else makes no sense, but whatever. As soon as i got back i spend close to 400 bucks on textbooks, which was basically my whole paycheck that i worked for over the break. I guess i just want to get back to classes because things have been really slow around here. Next week i have a retreat with the Catholic daughters, so that should be interesting. retreats suck when its cold, because it always works out that we have to go hiking up a hill in the middle of the night in some remote part of who knows where. And while im going to be in the middle of nowhere... i hope we dont run into wildfires!!! -the holidays are over and it hurts- back to school!!!

Did you know: “Don’t send your kids to Baylor,” Tom Delay, majority whip in the House of Representatives, admonished an audience at First Baptist Church in Pearland, Texas, last April 12. His concern was that Baylor did not teach creationism, although he later tried to distance himself from the comments. (It later emerged that, before embarking on his successful career as an insect exterminator, Delay had been expelled from Baylor in 1967 for a series of behavioral infractions.) Haha, he was probably caught dancing on campus, which wasn’t allowed until 1996!

I love getting mail, thanks Ebs for the Che Guevara postcard, muy funny. I also received a check for $2 from the laundry service because i called to complain about their dryer that took my $1 and refused to work. maybe i should call customer service more often! The little things make me happy! This week two of my roommates are celebrating their b-days. Since I'm such a nice person i decided to make them a b-day cake, with a little help from my other roommate Amanda. (it didn’t turn out too bad!) So far my roommates are really cool...and in general people here are genuinely nice. Latin Dancing Society is interesting... i had to dance with a guy from Japan the other day, but at least we learned some cool moves. Eliz.
IM MOVING TOMORROW (friday)!!! For the past few days i've had this feeling that im forgetting to pack something, but i figured out that i've forgotten to pack all of you and my parents (weird i know, you would think i'd be happy about getting out of here). My mom and co-workers took me out for lunch which was thoughtful of them. as annoying as i might find them sometimes i will miss them, and there demands like getting coffee, which, for the record was not in my job description. but since i'm the young one i get all the menial jobs and occasionaly i will have to stop work on the computer to let dr. joe play solitaire on the computer (but thats another story).

I think about odd stuff sometimes, but i really am going to suffer with white walls in the apartment.i have a need to decorate.

*******Will someone please tell GABBY to pay attention when i speak or get some medication for her ADD, its rediculus that she didnt know i was leaving tomorrow, OF ALL PEOPLE! she's a crazy frog**************

The first song he sang was "Feelin Good" so after that i could not complain. the impersonasion of michael jackson and maroon 5 was by far the most entertaining. afterward ebony and i decided we would see if he would come out the "back way." of course we werent the only ones with the same idea, but we eventually got him to sign a cd. i'm up in the clouds....

After the news yesterday everyone had high spirits because london is going to sponsor the 2012 Olymics. This morning the news that there was bombing in the trains and on a bus was frightening, this has never happened in the UK. they have told everyone to stay where they are but many people are simply walking home. Luckily im in west malling which is a town south of london. but everyone is in shock here, understandably.

oh and i promised my niece she could type something.
(she likes spaces)
victoria and melissa.

Today was interesting...I went to a family friend's BBQ, all the adults talked to me about college and the "temptations" that i should stay away from. Like those things dont already exist in high school? our family friend also invited us to attend their daughters wedding in Maui next march! Now all i have to do is convince my mom to fly there, she has a phobia, maybe we need to hire a hypnotist.

Graduation was a lot painless then i thought it would be. Next time i see Veeral im going to give her hell about her speech, "parents are always right". I dont know how many times my mom has used that in the past 24 hrs, but its getting on my last nerve.

-Iron chef was awesome last night, but i have no idea why i was watching it.

Dad is home and i got a few gifts: another Trini & Togabo t-shirt, more steel drums. this summer my goal is to master the art of steel drumming, or at least be able to play twinkle twinkle little star. I finally turned in the NAHS scrapbook to Collins who was ecstatic to have the first one ever in ten years. it will probably the first and last one she will ever see. there was too much time and money that went into it that i almost didnt hand it over.

As dad would say, it's tea time!-yeah, he really does have his mid-afternoon tea!

I feel like such a loser, i had to take my spanish exam, yeah, and I'm a native speaker, but that grammar crap is hard. Other than that i had an awesome weekend, which i should have devoted more time to studying, but i figure, you only live once. friday night synergy was cool. afterward gabby, christine, and i went out for tapioca- that was a new experience! Then party at Tatiana's house which involved hide and seek in the middle of the street and later salsa dancing. I'm not sure what happened sat. Sunday morning I joined Gabs and her family at D&B for company dinner thingy, it was cool b/c we got unlimited free games! About 3 we went to Morgan's pool party to celebrate gradation/Laura's and Tatiana's b-day. Got some sun, went home and studied!

Today was my last AP! that thing lasted for about 4hrs, then right after that i went to play soccer for another hr. but we couldn't stand the heat. It's like 90 out there!

NHS banquet yesterday was funny! especially the water balloon fight, and people being thrown in the pool. Got it all on camera! as seniors we seem to be reverting back to childhood days, i love it!

Our "Beuna Vista Social Club" t-shirts were a no go. Stupid juniors officers said it didnt count as being dressed up as band, even though we had hats and cigars. a big "whatever" to class of '06.-mensos

I had THE worst friday ever! I tried to explain my friday on LJ and when i pushed the "update journal" button, there was an "error."

So here i go again:

my eyes burned when i attempted to put in my contacts that morning due to the ridiculously hot chile i cut the day before. so i'm forced to wear my glasses with the prescription that is two years old!-blind as a bat

Art ap that day, and my slides arent ready till 12 and my mom wont be able to bring them till 12:30, ap starts at 12, see the problem? Luckily i was the only one taking the ap (thanks Tatiana) and Ms. Severns allowed me to take it whenever. Praise the Lord!

My slide come in, oh shit the pictures didnt show up on a 1/3 of the slides, crap!

Saturday: ap study time, unfortunately that did not work out well since my mom's friends came over, and when two hispanic women get to talking there's no shutting them up.

Sunday: Storm rolls in, mom freaks out after seeing the rain come in horizontally, camp out in the closet- good bonding time for Mother's Day.
